Established in January 2011, Dabeinong Biological Breeding Innovation R&D Center brings together over 30 core members from Beijing Dabeinong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The center focuses on using biotechnology to address major pain points in domestic and international crop production. It has achieved significant results in key gene discovery, trait research, and product development and application. The center's biological breeding R&D system and biosafety management meet international standards, having passed ISO9001 and ETS certifications. It has received numerous awards, including the Second Prize for Science and Technology in Jilin Province and the New Technology Award for China's Major Agricultural Science and Technology Achievements in 2022. The center has also applied for over 80 domestic and 50 international patents, with 60 domestic and 30 international patents granted.
